Joe’s Table Café and The Joseph Chung Gallery partner with organizations across Metro Vancouver dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. Art works featured in our New Year Community Art Show are from the Developmental Disabilities Association.
The Developmental Disabilities Association (www.develop.bc.ca) offers a wide range of programs developed to support, facilitate and enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
All of the artwork on display was produced by the participants of the DDA. We are constantly surprised and delighted by what new interests and directions people take in their personal exploration of art and the artistic process, and particularly how the sense of community benefits us all.
